Traveling in Cusco – Peru: Machu Picchu Reservations SAC. Operates in regions where standards of accommodation can vary. Transportation and services might not be as those you would typically have back home. However, we strive with all due care and skill, to provide the best service for our clients. Traveling in Peru requires flexibility, patience, broad-mindedness, good humor and an understanding that changes may be made without notice due to circumstances or occurrences beyond our control, for example, a strike, protest, landslide, bad weather, etc.
Force Majeure. By booking any of our tours & treks, you agree to allow Machu Picchu Reservations SAC. To make necessary changes without liability.
IMPORTANT: Please note we are unable to accept any bookings without ALL of the passport information.
If you are booking as a student, also you must send us a picture of your student card that complies with all the requirements of the Peruvian government.
With the original student ID gives from the university in PVC material and it must have the next requirements: university information, personal student information, student picture, and expiration date valid only for one year, it year must coincide with the year that student visits Machu Picchu, the discount until 25 years old.
Incremental charge in case of protests or strikes (Force Majeure)
In the event of a protest or strike( which is not uncommon in Cusco), it may be necessary to leave a day or even two days earlier than scheduled so that we are able to comply with other services. In this case, there may be an additional fee, depending on the situation.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK.
I am a voluntary participant in these activities. I understand that during the course of the tour, certain risks and dangers may occur, including, but not limited to the hazards of traveling in mountainous terrain, accidents or illness in remote places without medical facilities and the forces of nature. I agree to assume all risks associated with the tour and agree that Machu Picchu Reservations SAC, its employees or agents will not be held liable in respect to death, injuries, or illness, for any loss or damage to my property. Also, I agree to respect the wildlife that dwells in the areas we will be visiting and respect the customs of the local people in terms of preservation and conservation of the natural habitats in the environment. I am obligated to accept the advice that the guide gives me and I agree to behave in the best interest of the safety of the group.
We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance that covers accidents, medical expenses (including rescue and air ambulance) and emergency repatriation. We also recommend that it covers cancellations and loss of luggage. You can use a travel insurance comparison website to search and compare over 250 travel insurance plans to find the best policy to best suit your needs.
Once you have purchased travel insurance, please forward a copy of the insurance company name and policy number by email or bring the information when you come into our office.
