Montaña Machupicchu is one of the mountains that surround the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. This mountain is 3080m located south of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
It is one of the mountains that you can climb from Machu Picchu, the climb takes about 1.5 hours and the descent 01 hours and with a time at the top of about 30 minutes to make this mountain it takes about 3 hours to go up and down and the Tickets for this mountain must be purchased in advance since only 800 people can do this mountain per day.

If you book your entrance to Montaña for the first turn you must pass the control of Montaña anytime between 7 and 8 in the morning after you pass the control you can take your time to climb it. If you book for the second turn you must pass the control of MONTAÑA anytime between 9 and 10 in the morning after you pass the control you can take your time to climb it. actually the second groups are the most popular because you may get a better climate.
Montaña Machu Picchu is located right across of Huayna Picchu mountain, actually, Machu Picchu is between Machu Picchu Montaña and Huaynapicchu is in the middle of the two mountains. Machu Picchu Montaña is 3080 mt. / 10104 ft. Hiking up to the top takes about 1.5 hours all the way by Inca stairs, it has 2045 steps from Machu Picchu to the top of Montaña and the way back takes about one hour, you need al least 3 hours to do the Montaña. the view of mountain Machupicchu is amazing. the view that has of the total area of the location of Machu Picchu is amazing is like being on top of the world. if you hit a beautiful day with the sun shining for sure this point will be the best of your entire trip.
